1. Do Your Homework as soon after math class that you can.  ASK if you have questions.  On your paper, mark what you are having trouble with or write your question in the margin.  You will need to work on your math course each day, if only for a half-hour.  Avoid doing all your math homework and studying on one or two days per week.
TEACHERS: Make yourself available to students at times other than math class.

2. Organize your notes.  Color code them – come up with a system.  Invest in highlighters and pencils.
